Selecting the Right Appointment for You - Advance Rehab

Selecting the Right Appointment for You

We’ve simplified our fee structure to make chiropractic care for our Brisbane based patients as easy and straight forward as possible.  To help guide you on which appointment length is most appropriate for your needs, we’ve created some tips that should help make your decision.  If you’re still unsure, please ask one of our friendly reception team at the time of booking.

A standard appointment (10 minutes) is best if you are a new patient seeing Dr Scott regularly (every 1-2 weeks) in the initial phase of your treatment, or if you’re a regular patient on a maintenance treatment plan and are seeing Dr Scott every 4-6 weeks.

A long appointment (30 minutes) is best if it has been some time (2+ months) between visits, or if your health circumstances have changed a lot since you saw him last.  If you receive laser treatment, a long appointment is also best for you to allow time for a short consult, laser and adjustment as required.

An extended appointment (60 minutes) is best if you have recently had your Smart DNA genetic test done, require a Neuro Assessment or it has been over 12 months since you have seen Dr Scott.

If this is your first time seeing Dr Scott, you will need an initial appointment.  This appointment is 1.5 hours in length and allows Dr Scott to have an in depth understanding of your concerns, symptoms and health history.

If you live interstate, we are able to organise appointments via Skype.  The initial appointment is still 1.5 hours so the same in depth understanding of your health can be attained.  From here, follow up appointments are usually 30 minutes in length however similarly with in clinic appointments, if you have additional information to discuss it is best to book an extended appointment to make sure appointments run to schedule.

Please note that we reserve the right to charge the amount corresponding to the actual appointment length.  We have simplified this structure to allow for greater predictability in appointment fees as well as keeping appointments running to schedule.  If you have any questions regarding the fee structure, please don’t hesitate to contact the clinic via reply email or on 3371 0222.
